What does this integration do

STAY uses Stripe to allow hotels to charge guests and visitors directly in the app. Stripe handles all payment processing securely and reliably, supporting major card networks and digital payment methods so guests can pay instantly from their mobile devices.

The integration enables seamless, real-time payments without manual intervention, removing the need for on-site payment or billing at checkout. It ensures secure transactions, reduces operational overhead for staff, and provides guests with a faster, more convenient payment experience.

How does the integration work

When the integration between STAY and Stripe is enabled, hotels can accept and manage in-app payments directly through their own Stripe account.

Each service within STAY, such as romm service, spa reservations, or cabana bookings, can be configured with the hotel’s preferred payment options. Guests complete payments instantly inside the app using their preferred method, including credit or debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, without redirects or manual confirmation.

Payments are processed through Stripe’s API, which ensures secure and dynamic transaction handling, while webhooks track every payment event to automatically update order statuses in STAY.
